Opposition to Proposal that would Allow Local Town Boards to Replace Local Elections with Appointments
Assemblywoman Jane Corwin (R,C,I-Clarence) today spoke out against the governor's proposal that would allow local town boards to replace local elections with appointments. Corwin said she has reached out to colleagues from both parties to work in unison to eliminate the anti-democratic proposal from the budget.
