Hexagonal Round 2 preparations, continued
Tuesday night I wrote a post on the preparations of the Hexagonal participants for the second matchday this weekend. Here's part two. If I could only use one word to describe Mexico's mindset going into the Hexagonal match against Costa Rica, it would be besieged. They have lost their last four qualifiers and scored just two goals in the process, the junior national teams have failed to qualify for their most recent world championships, players and administrators are talking openly about the malaise and stagnation in Mexican football, new players are being added to the injury list just as others.
