Why is Spanish Football Rubbish?

Spanish football is increasingly rubbish. Why? In the old days, when the climate was stable, warmth and clear skies produced superior foorball. Not any more. Now the Northern climes are scaling the European heights. Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal , Chelsea. The Spanish clubs are drying out in the desert.
