CARNAVAL 2009!
Let's divert our attention away from South American football, shall we, and take a closer look at something else that's taking place in the region... Carnaval in Brazil! For the unaware, Carnaval is celebrated in Brazil four days before Ash Wednesday (yeah, don't give me that look amigos). Modern carnival originated in Rio in 1641.
