Independiente’s Medel deal collapses; River close in on Fabbiani
Gary Medel isn't coming to Buenos Aires after all, in spite of last week's expectations. Universidad Católica, the player's Chilean club, have rejected Independiente's terms on the deal which had been announced last week to bring one of South America's most exiciting young midfielders to the Primera A.
