Remember that big transfer rumour about a month ago that had Cristiano Ronaldo all signed up on a secret deal to play for Real Madrid next season? Seemed somewhat plausible at the time, until Alex Ferguson's responded with "Do you think I would get into a contract with that mob. Jesus Christ, no chance.
