Premiership - After Five Games
Further to last Thurday's opening gambit on shot quality, here are the initial shot quality tables
for this season's Premier League. The breakdown is fairly self explanatory, apart from the final
column - 'Quality Shots per Game'. A quick explanation of how this is calculated:
Examining where goals are scored from, I discovered that shots taken from inside the six yard box
are about twice as likely to result in a goal than shots from elsewhere in the penalty box.
