The MISL is dead. Long live the NISL, which has four of the old MISL's nine teams and will maintain the three-point line along with ties to U.S. Soccer.
That sets the NISL apart from the PASL, which is the U.S. representative of a movement to establish "arena soccer" or "futbol rapido" as a sport wholly separate from the outdoor game.
