Deadline Day Part Two
I've just about recovered after sitting transfixed through Sky Sports News' coverage of the closing of the transfer window. The Day Today had nothing on this: the absurd, breathless Andy Burton with his three mobiles, live pictures of the fax machine at FA HQ, 'Joey Barton' texting Jim White, the bloke stood in the rain outside the Britannia Stadium for twelve hours getting overly excited by the arrival of Danny Higginbottom and shouting things like "Tom Soares is now ON HIS WAY from London.
