Keflavik Secure Icelandic Title
Keflavik IF have won the Icelandic Championships for the fifth time in their history. Keflavik last won the title back in 1973 and they secured their victory on Sunday in a 3-0 home victory against UMF Grindavik. Although there is still one fixture that is yet to be played between second-placed FH Hajnarfjordur and UMF Breidablik Kopavogur, Keflavik are five points ahead of their nearest rival and thus secure the championship.
