A Premier League career that promised so much finally nearing a miserable end
When Chelsea announced the £30 million signing of Andriy Shevchenko two years ago, many people
felt he could take the league by storm. He had a sterling reputation as one of the greatest
striker's in Europe, if not the world.
Since his move from his beloved AC Milan, Shevchenko has only pulled on the blue of Chelsea, 75
times, most of those appearances coming as a substitute.
