Drogba to miss season start - A big loss?
Didier Drogba is set to miss the start of the season after failing to return from a knee problem. This is not too big a loss for Chelsea with Scolari claiming that the Ivorian will only miss the opening two fixtures against Wigan and Portsmouth but there is howerver little other competition for places at Stamford Bridge with Salomon Kalou at the olympics and Shevchenko seemingly out of "Big Phil's" plans.
