Liverpool has competition for target

Fenerbahce are ready to trump Liverpool for the signing of Espanyol's Albert Riera. Liverpool were rumored to be making a £7.9million offer for the 26-year-old midfielder/winger but the Turkish club are ready to pay at least that amount.
