Spain Officially the Best in the World
After their Euro 08 victory, Spain have moved from number 4 to number 1 in the new FIFA world rankings. Spain is the 6th different team to hold the number one spot since 1993, when FIFA first starting using the ranking system. This is the first time that Spain has ever been ranked number one. The top five is:1.
