Is Chivas USA getting ready to move to Santa Ana?
The city of Santa Ana is in discussion with Chivas USA to build youth fields on a piece of land
currently used as a golf course. The team is looking at building 'as many as seven soccer fields
and a 2,000 to 3,000-seat stadium' on the 102-acre site.
However, youth fields might just be the start of things as the team as not ruled out building a
permanent home on the site.
