Clint Mathis training with LA Galaxy

Yes that is true the man with the number 33 in the above picture is Clint, but why is he back here right now and training with LA? Last I heard I thought this guy was playing in the Greece superliga playing for Ergotelis. Does this mean Mathis will soon be making his debut for the Galaxy? I don't know but LA could sure use another guy up top.
