Greg Lalas on Shevchenko

Have you read Greg Lalas's piece on Andriy Shevchenko over at Si.com? If not, do give it a read.

The jist of the article is that the very expensive Shevchenko, while not scoring, has freed up Didier Drogba and others, Frank Lampard namely, to do just that. In other words, the Ukrainians detractors should shut up and sit down, because Shevchenko is slowly but surely making his transfer fee good.
