Swindon Town 0-1 Southend United
Southend gained another vital three points on their travels and extended their unbeaten run to 8
games. Simon Francis' 18th minute deflected goal was enough to beat their mid-table opponents at
the County Ground.
The Blues remain 5th in the table, just a point behind Nottingham Forest, but - most importantly -
Southend now have a three point buffer between themselves and 7th place, thanks to results going in
their favour.
