Oba Martins Flying Back to Tyneside

BBC reporting the quarter final between Ghana and Nigeria was ended in a drama. Ghana was coming from behind and reduced to ten men on the hour, but the Black Stars team earn a semi-final place with a 2-1 victory over Nigeria.

Nigeria took the lead on 34 minutes through a Yakubu penalty, but Michael Essien's glancing header put the Black Stars level on the stroke of half-time.
