United, The SuperDraft, And The National Team
Earlier this week, I asked both Dave Kasper and Tom Soehn about whether or not their need to maintain, and improve upon, their high level of play supercedes any obligation to find talented young players through the draft.Â
Both of them basically said that, because United does well during the regular season, they always wind up drafting late, at which point none of their ideal targets are available.
