Near the end of the Arsenal Tottenham Carling Cup semi-final last night, an altercation took place between Adebayor and his strike partner Bendtner. They argued as they were waiting for a corner to be delivered and Adebayor head butted Bendtner, cutting his nose. The referee Howard Webb spoke to both players but took no action.
