US Soccer has released Bob Bradley's list of players called into USMNT camp this January. It is an interesting mix of players on breaks from MLS and Scandinavian leagues. MLS Rookie of the Year Omar Gonzalez may get a long look because of injuries in the American backline and forwards Marcus Tracy and Robbie Findley will be looking to prove they can fill the hole left by the recovering Charlie Davies.

Did ya hear the news? So conveniently released one day before last week's draw. I'm starting to think press folks on the women's side intentionally make announcements at the exact moment something HUGE happens in the men's game (WPS does it all the time). In 2015, FIFA will expand the Women's World Cup from 16 to 24 teams.

The World Cup draw earlier today was one of the better scenarios US fans could hope for. While getting to see the great match up England vs USA, Americans fans are liking their chances against Algeria and Slovenia.
