Last night, Real Madrid were given the most glorious opportunity to go to bed with a 13-point lead over Barcelona. It was an opportunity that was as clear as day: against a bottom team who were on a freefall (Racing Santander), at home and on the back of what has largely been a sweet Valentine's Month for Real Madrid.
