I have recently started a new job which has limited the amount of time I have available to keep the site up to date, I am however posting useful updates on the Facebook fan-page to keep everyone up-to-date with everything happening at EAG.

All the updates posted on Facebook are automatically replicated on Twitter so if you use either of those services then I suggest that you 'follow' EAG on your preferred service.

Guingamp got their Championnat National campaign off to a winning start last night, beating FC Rouen 1-0 at the Roudourou.

FC Rouen made it very difficult for the Red and Blacks though and can feel very hard done by that they did not come away from the match with a point.

In a tightly contested first-half it was probably Rouen that looked the most likely to score and called EAG keeper Mamadou Samassa into action on several occasions.

The draw for the secund round of the Coupe De La Ligue was made today with Guingamp being drawn at home to recently promoted Evian TG FC.

Evian won promotion to Ligue 2 last season by winning the Championnat National, a full 14 points clear of second placed Reims.

They did however require penalties to eliminate RC Strasbourg in the previous round after the game was tied at 2-2 after extra time.
