In what could be a groundbreaking report by the CIES Football Observatory,
football agents have been revealed to be greedy, money-making maniacs! Hey, we all know that this
is true (except for Mesut Ozil's perhaps, who once patiently and kindly listened
to us blabbering phrasebook German phrases in the freezing cold Madrid winter!
Mesut Ozil received a fine a few weeks ago for parking his car illegally by the side of a road
in Madrid while he went shopping at the Golden Mile. Who cares if you're a world class midfielder?
There are no exceptions when you leave your beautiful car by the side of the road! (via Europa

Oh dear, it looks like Wayne Rooney has gone and done the
unthinkable... by declaring that he wants to win Euro 2012! Congratulations Wayne, you've
now placed a heavy load on the shoulders of the England blokes who WILL
actually play in the opening two group fixtures of the tournament against Sweden and France.
Uh-oh, it sure looks like Barca's Andres Iniesta has a lot more talent
than the world thought! The midfield maestro and scorer of Spain's World Cup Winning goal (it's his
legacy, futbolitinas... vamos a celebrarlo!) has lent his voice to the
Spanish-language version of the animated film "Pirates" ¡Piratas!
"Tudo Bem, galera?!!" It was a reunion of "Irmandade"
(Brotherhood") last night as the Brazilian National Team gathered at St. Gallen,
Switzerland yesterday, to prepare for tonight's friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina. Since
everyone is already match fit, the selecao held the traditional "rachao" (a short ball
game) during the training session, wearing their new light-blue training kits, which honestly
resembled pyjamas.

Bem-vindo a Selecao Bootcamp! Who would've thought that
Neymar would be reunited with his long lost younger brother from
Switzerland?! Well, these are some of the funny things that happen when the Seleção go
overseas for their friendly matches.
It's not everyday you get to see England's National Team posing with a R&B boyband (JLS above),
or in the case of John Terry, pretending to be a Power Ranger
alongside actor Ray Winstone. That's exactly what happened at the the England
Footballers Foundation Lions and Roses Charity Dinner in London last night.
Where there's Ronaldo, there's Sami Khedira (not usually) and
where there's Khedira, there's Ozil (usually). In the name of
Bromance, Sergio Ramos temporarily took over the "duties" of the robotic-speaking
German in Real Madrid's 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano yesterday, which explains the
photo above.
There's a bloke named Winston who arguably has the "best job in the world" if
you're an Arsenal fan. For the love of Redknapp, who the hell is Winston, you ask? He works
exclusively in Arsenal's dressing room at the Emirates stadium, sits in the empty cubicle at the
far left (unoccupied by players) on match-day and ensures that the operations run smoothly.
It would suck to be Claudio Ranieri right now, especially after Inter's 0-1 loss
to Napoli last night, which handed the poor Nerazzuris their seventh lost in eight games.
It could've been a draw if Pazzini hadn't missed his chance three minutes from the
final whistle!
Ah, Fernando Torres set fire to the rain, why don't you? He's the the classic
case of Favourite Footballer To Hate, and it's only going to get worse for poor
tipo over here. You see, Vicente del Bosque has left him
out of Spain's squad for their upcoming friendly against Venezuela on the 29th, opting instead to
go with Valencia's Roberto Soldado.
Nicolas Anelka received a special gift from a fan last week upon his arrival at Chinese side,
Shanghai Shenhua. Let's hope the cookies he got in that jar are worth £6million a year! / via

United may have pathetically lost 1-2 to Ajax Amsterdam in last night's Europa League match, but
Chicharito's sixth-minute goal was a lifeline! Even if there were some missed chances and the
Mexican could've done better... / via Reuters

AC Milan stud and King of Hairstyles has been spotted shopping on the streets
of Milan with his girlfriend, Melissa Satta. It sure looks like
Allegri has been listening to some much-needed advise... about letting his
giocatori (players) get some rest ahead of Juventus this weekend!
She was recently in the running to pick up the FIFA Women's Ballon D'or award,
but although it was teammate Abby Wambach who ended up in the top three (with
Homare Sawa and Marta), USA goalkeeper Hope Solo
still treasures her Golden Glove for an outstanding performance at the Women's
World Cup.
Welcome to the Friday Crackovia Club, our weekly special on Catalonia's wacky
football sketch show! This week, a member of Barcelona's staff accidentally disassembles the
magnets on Pep Guardiola's tactics board.... which spells a big dilemma. Will
Barca now field an absurd 1-9-1 formation, with Messi as
the sole striker?
He may be based in Barcelona at the moment, but the UK still loves their Cesc Fabregas! He
presented a Brit Award alongside Nicole Scherzinger on Tuesday night. / via Reuters

Here they are the new (updated) faces of one of the world's favourite soft drinks!
Lionel Messi, Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Kun Aguero and Fernando Torres all
appeared in a print version of the ad bringing on the swag, and looking like football's
rock stars. The choices are questionable, but will someone please tell us what DJ Calvin
Harris looking like a posh version of Per Mertesacker is doing amongst
them?
So we've gathered that Bastian Schweinsteiger's basketball fanaticism has
scaled to extraordinary heights during his injury recuperation time at Bayern Munich. During this
time of sadness (he nearly switched to professional basketball last year!), Bastian discovered that
hoop shooting can be rather therapeutic, especially with Euro being less than four months away.
