The time has come for the final (we think) WNT Blog post of 2010. Of course we'll be back early
in 2011 as the WNT gets ready for training camp in what will be a HUGE year for the team heading
towards the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany.
For now, we'll leave you with Abby Wambach's favorite-ever holiday gift -- given and received --
and hope you the holidays are wonderful for you and the ones you love.
The Opening Match of the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup will set a new European attendance record for
women's football as 50,000 tickets have already been sold for the clash between host Germany and
Canada on June 26 at Berlin's Olympiastadion (above).
The previous record was set on April 22, 2009, when 44,825 fans watched the international friendly
between Germany and Brazil at the Frankfurt World Cup Arena.
