Week 18 of the 2017 MLS season saw another big crowd for an MLS game. San Jose drew 50,617 to Stanford Stadium for the California Clasico against the LA Galaxy. They gave the home fans a stoppage time winner, taking the game 2-1. It didn't start well for San Jose with Jelle Van Damme putting the Galaxy up in the 11th minute.

Dom Dwyer had quite the start to his USMNT career against Ghana at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut. Dwyer scored in his debut for the squad. Dwyer's goal came in the 18th minute in the warm-up friendly in advance of the 2017 Gold Cup. He was one of three players to debut for the USMNT on Saturday.
