Fair enough, this is a long time away and we've got two tournaments to go before we get to the 2018 tournament but with FIFA announcing their short-list I thought it would be good to consider the options.

The 2010 tournament will be in South Africa, the 2014 in Brazil so with that in mind I've had a run though the candidate nations to offer my thoughts on where the tournament should go.

ESPN today teased its coverage of World Cup 2010 by stating that it will be "biggest marketing campaign ever," according to ESPN's executive vice president of content John Skipper.

According to MediaPostNews, "All 64 games will be carried on ESPN from South Africa. While making the announcement of the coming marketing investment, Skipper mentioned the tagline 'One Game Changes Everything' that ESPN used to plug the 2006 event, hinting it may return.

Its the final week of Libertadores action, the bracket for the knockout stage is set. Teams fought hard to get closer to becoming the champion of the 50th Copa Libertadores.
