Reports in Spain today claim that it is a question of when, rather than if, Pedro will become a Manchester United player. Marca claims that United have put in a bid of £17.5m for Pedro, which has been rejected, but an offer of £20m will be enough to seal the deal.

Barcelona are hoping to keep hold of Pedro until after the European Super Cup on 11th August when they face Sevilla, while Van Gaal would obviously rather have the deal done before then, with our Premier League season kicking off on the 8th against Tottenham Hotspur.

LvG: Maybe De Gea’s mistake came because he’s thinking of Madrid

Manchester United lost 2-0 to PSG last night after individual errors lead to goals. The first goal was conceded when Phil Jones was outmuscled and David de Gea came rushing out of his goal, only to watch the ball roll in past him.

Louis van Gaal has conceded that the situation with Real Madrid is not ideal, with the club seemingly refusing to let De Gea leave if Sergio Ramos isn't going to come in the opposite direction.

Louis van Gaal has confirmed that next season he expects to play a 4-3-3 formation, with him have a specific role in mind for Memphis Depay.

That the midfielder is [sometimes] in front of the striker is not bad because I think you do need variation in your attack. I like that and I ask for that, especially from Memphis.

The demand for away tickets for Manchester United fans far exceeds the supply which is proving to be a bigger problem every year.
