Can you imagine if United were guilty of same behaviour as Liverpool?

Ahead of Sunday's game at Anfield, Liverpool's official Twitter account was joining in with jokes about the Munich Air Disaster with one of their fans.

The club were quick to offer an apology, calling the tweet an "error of judgement" as well as "distasteful and inappropriate".

Can you imagine the reaction from the scousers if the official United account was taking the piss out of Hillsborough?

When David Moyes hit out at the Premier League a couple of weeks ago, suggesting a "conspiracy against United" in terms of our opening run of fixtures in the new campaign (I think we all know that run now: Swansea, Chelsea, Liverpool, Palace, City), he may have been continuing a fine tradition of controlled paranoia which Fergie used to use as a tool for constructing that famous Old Trafford siege mentality.

Reaction to United’s draw with Chelsea

1. Before the game I would have happily settled for a draw, given that Jose Mourinho's Chelsea are title favourites and United, with a brand new manager, have been predicted to finish 3rd at best by the press. But leaving the ground, I was disappointed we hadn't nicked a goal, after being the better and more ambitious team for most of the game.

Half-time row cost United CL final victory in 2011

The feeling brought on by Wayne Rooney's goal ten minutes before half-time in the 2011 Champions League final was absolutely incredible. Wayne Rooney has been guilty of making a couple of errors in judgement since signing for Manchester United, and it's likely that both have been influenced by his agent, Paul Stretford.

Every time Jose Mourinho answers a question on Wayne Rooney he is keen to stress the club is behaving in an "ethical" way.
