Reactions To Victory Over Chelsea

1. Finally! At long last! It is over! Ten years we've had to wait to get a result at Stamford Bridge and yesterday, when we really needed it, we got it. As Sir Alex Ferguson correctly identified before the game, there have been matches at Chelsea we've deserved to win but have been robbed horribly by the referee, none worse than the game in the 2009-2010 season.

Guardian Journo Will Regret Starting Battle With United Fans

Last April, you might remember that we got ourselves involved in an argument with a journalist at The Guardian, Sachin Nakrani. Having never previously heard of him, attention was drawn to Nakrani after reading his response to the FA publishing their report on Luis Suarez's punishment. It was meant to be an informative piece about the FA's handling of the Evra/Suarez case but Nakrani was guilty of making comments that completely contradicted what the report actually said.

1. Ahead of kick-off I said that Stoke at home was a fixture United had to be winning, particularly with Chelsea making light work of the likes of Arsenal and Spurs away already this season. Why Fergie Was Wrong To Blast Rio

Republik Of Mancunia at related • 0 views

Sir Alex Ferguson has changed my life. Some of the best feelings I've ever experienced are a result of the brilliant teams he has built and the success he has inspired. Whilst I'm not blinded to his mistakes or personal flaws, it is rare that I would publicly criticise him. However, I think the handling of Rio Ferdinand in response to him not wearing a "Kick It Out" t-shirt ahead of Saturday's win over Stoke has been fairly embarrassing for the club.

United play host to Stoke this weekend, and look worthy odds on favourites at 1.3 with bet365 and Paddy Power to bag another three points.

It's been all or nothing for Sir Alex's side so far with eight wins and two defeats from their 10 games in all competitions.

They come into the game on the back of an easy 3-0 away victory at Newcastle, and although they lost their last home game to Spurs this looks a good opportunity for them to erase that firmly from the memory with an emphatic victory.

Stan Collymore Talking Nonsense About Cleverley

"Juventus are complete with their non-EU players for this season and it is highly unlikely they will make a bid for Vidic, therefore I can categorically rule out any interest from them.

Whilst his early years were hampered by the ridiculous three foreigners rule, meaning that only three from Eric Cantona, Peter Schmeichel, Roy Keane, Andrei Kanchelskis and Dennis Irwin could play for us, the wins in 1999 and 2008 don't accurately represent the greatness of the teams Ferguson has created.
