Brian O'Connell, MatchNight in New England - This was the kind of game of that makes Bea Arthur
look like Christina Aguilera, for even a sideline of half-naked Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders
couldn't have redeemed the outward appearance of this game. Then again...

Martin Fernandez, MatchNight in DC - It is with great disappointment that we say goodbye to the

Brian O'Connell, MatchNight in New England - With the unfortunate end only days away, I offer you
the following testimony from that of a saddened MatchNight writer who discovered his own
soccer-writing spark from the very site he loyally contributed to.

Buzz Carrick, MatchNight in Dallas - Ah the good ole USA. Nothing like a US game to mess with the
schedule at Pizza Hut Park. It's a busy day for the staff as both Guatemala and the US train this
afternoon. FCD canceled their afternoon session today and did a super tough session this morning
instead of the two-a-day.

MatchNight in New England - Landon, Landon, Landon (one for each goal)... Where, O where, was this
little goal-scoring streak of yours last summer?

Buzz Carrick, MatchNight in Dallas - So that's about it. The USL/MLS challenge hosted by the Puerto
Rico Islanders has come to an end with LA sweeping their two games and FCD going one and one.
Primarily a reserve unit played in the first game against the Islanders and the senior squad took
care of Rochester in the second match. At this point the preseason is effectively over with only
the game against Atletico Paranaense remaining, which is not really a friendly as it's the second
leg of the USA-Brazil Challenge.

needed to defeat the Fire, 1-0.

Brian O'Connell, MatchNight in New England - Shalrie Joseph must have stolen lollipops from
infants, or kicked numerous puppies in a previous life. For these are the only explanations one can
ascertain the absolute sheer bad karma (or luck, depending upon one's philosophy) that the
Revolution midfielder has experienced in the past seven months.

for a partial allocation and the Canadian's natural first round 2008 SuperDraft pick. The trade

Gina Zippilli, MatchNight in Dallas - Thankfully, 2007 is a new year and on Saturday night FC
Dallas took the Saturn Cup seriously. Played at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, most of the
names in the starting lineup for the Saturn Cup were recognizable as the first eleven was comprised
of mostly first-teamers. While the first half was sloppy, and the second half saw Dallas take and
lose the lead twice in a span of ten minutes, Dallas came out victorious in the end after a hard
fought match ending in a Dominic Oduro breakaway.
