There has been some controversy and confusion regarding comments made by U.S. youth national team forward Vincenzo Bernardo last week, comments attributed to him as part of an interview conducted by Soccer By Ives last week.

Soon after the above comments were released by SBI last Friday, Bernardo came forward on his personal website and stated that his quotes were misrepresented and that playing for the United States is his first choice, now and in the future.

Report: Deal will keep Beckham at Milan until summer

David Beckham will be staying at AC Milan after all. Well, at least until the summer.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Los Angeles Galaxy and AC Milan have reached an agreement on a deal that will keep Beckham with Milan through the end of the Serie A season. The move would mean that Beckham could not re-join the Galaxy until July 15, which would cause Beckham to miss more than half the MLS regular season (17 total Galaxy games).

Michael Bradley's career-month could not have ended any better. The U.S. national team midfielder scored from the penalty spot in Borussia Moenchengladbach's league match against Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

While Bradley's 69th-minute goal was not enough to help his club avoid a 2-1 loss to Hertha Berlin, it did cap off a magnificent month for the 21-year-old.
