An interesting trend among MLS media guides

I received a UPS package on Monday and when I saw the heavy square box I knew right away it was the 2008 MLS media guides. Sure, it was several months earlier than I have ever received them but after hearing that the league would fine teams that turned guides in late, I knew they were on their way earlier than usual.

Make it 20 goals in all competitions for Michael Bradley, who scored two more goals last weekend, including the game-winner in Heerenveen's 4-3 win against Roda.

Bradley's performance highlighted an up and down weekend for Americans in Europe. Fulham's Fab Five suffered another relegation blow in a 2-0 loss to Newcastle while Tim Howard's chances of having Everton secure a Champions League place took a hit in a 1-1 tie against Jonathan Spector's West Ham United.

Who should Bob Bradley start vs. Poland?

The first U.S. national team match of the new year on foreign soil pits the Americans against Poland in a match that will be much tougher than some Americans realize.

This is not the same Poland team the Americans beat twice in a span of a year. Poland is coming off a very strong European qualifying campaign and should actually be considered the favorite going into Wednesday's match.
