Lazio forward Goran Pandev is set to be offered a deal to stay at the club until 2012.

Lazio are moving to quell reported interest in Pandev after the Macedonia international was linked with Portsmouth, Arsenal and Rangers in recent months.
The player publicly denied the speculation, saying of one report ahead of Macedonia's clash with England in October that he has "never spoken with this journalist (in question)" regarding a move to the Gunners.

The game is over, the Macedonian football fans are disappointed and the hopes of qualifying are shattered, many fans will question themselves do we really have what it takes to qualify for a major tournament. It's very sad that the destiny of the Macedonian football lies in the hands of people who probably haven't kicked any ball on some Macedonian stadium and not to mention some bigger European stadium.
