Penalty kicks and Fabian Castillo stole the show Saturday night at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas as FC Dallas defeated Real Salt Lake 2-0.

It may not have been one of the marquee matchups of MLS' 2015 "Rivalry Week" encore, but both teams entered the match desperately seeking points. FC Dallas looked to end a three game losing streak and keep the Western Conference title within reach, while Real Salt Lake hoped to gain momentum after just snapping a three game losing streak of their own with a win over Seattle Sounders one week ago.

Rubinho and Evra see red as Serie A champions Juventus slump to Roma defeat

Juventus had two men sent off as their dismal start to the Serie A season continued at Roma.

The champions, who lost their opening match at home to Udinese last week, went down 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico and had Rubinho and Patrice Evra sent off in the final quarter.

Miralem Pjanic opened the scoring for Roma with an impressive free-kick just past the hour mark and, after their opponents had seen back-up goalkeeper Rubinho dismissed from the bench for dissent and Evra follow to leave them down to 10 men, Edin Dzeko headed home with 11 minutes remaining to double the advantage.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich agree to sell defender Dante to Wolfsburg

Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg have agreed a deal which will see Brazil defender Dante move to the Volkswagen Arena.

The 31-year-old center-back is yet to undergo a medical with last season's Bundesliga runners-up after his transfer request was accepted by the defending champions.
