The marathon of the Champions League Final is over, and what an ordeal it was. Frankly I'm
embarrassed by what I witnessed. Embarrassed because of the lack of sportsmanship shown by both
sides. Embarrassed because this was supposed to be the final that provided an entertaining example

It was always going to come down to one break or mistake either way, and it was the cruelest of
fates for Chelsea captain John Terry and his team as Edwin van der Sar punched Nicolas Anelka's

For all the backlash the Premier League faced this season, the 2007/2008 season will go down as one
of the best in my memory. Sure, we didn't have as many classic matches as we've had in seasons past
but taken as a whole, it was one of the closest races at the top and bottom. Looking [...]
Manchester United's achievement of a record tenth Premier League title yesterday was not only well
deserved after a brilliant season from the Red Devils. It was an example of the managerial prowess
and drive that exists in the club thanks to Sir Alex Ferguson. With everything that Man United

Chelsea has beaten Man United in the race to sign right back Jose Bosingwa from Porto for a
transfer fee of £16.2 million. Porto FC has confirmed the signing on its official web site,

Manchester United defeated Wigan 2-0 to win their second consecutive Premier League title.
The brace flowed fittingly for this season. The young generation won it, with Cristiano
Ronaldo deftly slotting in a penalty. The older generation sealed it with Ryan Giggs, in his
record-tying 750th appearance for United, touching in a through-ball from Rooney.
Fulham has done it again. For the second season in a row, they've escaped relegation by the
slimmest of margins. This time it was on goal difference as they squeezed a victory against
Portsmouth at Fratton Park, while the teams below them Reading and Birmingham both had emphatic
victories on the last day (4-0 [.

Those of you against some form of playoffs at the end of the season, what do you have to say for
yourself now? Bristol City, a relative lightweight who won League One just last year, stunned most

Palace's Selhurst Park.
Firstly, I would like to show my huge appreciation to the gaffer for allowing me to contribute to

Let's hope that I'm On Setanta Sports creator Mario Rosenstock is madly rewriting the script for

The 2007/2008 Premier League season has almost come to a close. For me, it's been a thrilling

I had started planning my season end series of articles on what I thought would be the areas each

Chances are that if you're reading this article, you're not a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. But if

£4.5 million [.
Tottenham Hotspur looks likely to announce within the next month that they'll be building a brand
new stadium next to their current White Hart Lane home. The new 50,000 seater ground will be open
by 2012 and will most probably feature a corporate name rather than the hallowed White Hart Lane
Only 33 days remain before Euro 2008 kicks off on Saturday, June 7 when Switzerland play Czech

2008/2009 Premier League season.
Today marks 80 years since the greatest record in English football was set. W.R. "Dixie"

There are those out there who believe the answer to the question is a resounding "no"; in

Numerous reports today have confirmed what has basically been common knowledge over the past couple

AC Milan midfielder Gennaro "the snarling dog" Gattuso has admitted his desire to play in

a target of Manchester United.
It's one of the oldest and most historic football grounds in the world. It has hosted the FA Cup

Admittedly, this is a blog focusing mainly on the Premiership, with occasional Champions League

Football stadiums can do bizarre things to people's minds sometimes. For example, I don't want
Fulham to be relegated. It has nothing to do with the fact that they have several American players.
Nor does it have anything to do with an admiration for the pleasing style of football that their
