Former Bohs favourite Glen Crowe could be on his way to Drogheda United from Shelbourne, according to reports.
One of the most prolific goal scorers in the eircom league in recent seasons Glen has joined Shels this season from north Dublin rivals Bohemians to form the most feared strike partnerships in the league with Jason Byrne who like Jason has only one full international cap to his credit, but he has not played to expectations since joining them last summer.

An already disappointing season ended in further depression for Bohemians. A 3-0 defeat and against Shelbourne saw Bohs finish a lowly sixth in the premier division. there was not much of note about Bohs' performance as the season fizzled out tamely.
Richie Baker beat a static Bohs defence to give Shels the lead after 53 minutes.

A capacity attendance of 7,500 fans cheered Cork to the echo as they played majestic football to overtake Derry at the head of the League table and win the title by two points.

Broghton boss Mark McGhee will make a bid for Shelbourne's star striker Jason Byrne.
McGhee was in Tolka Park to see Shelbourne play out a scoreless draw with Cork City on friday night, and should be in Dalymount Park for Shels end-of-season clash with Bohemians this friday.
Byrne has been the Eircom Leagues top scorer for the last 3 years and the 26 year old would relish a move to England.

There were rumors sround Rovers that he would be suspended and those rumors were confirmed when a Shamrock Rovers offical confirmed them, tonight on newstalk 106 but the offical wouldnt give a reason why.

All the tickets for Friday week's potential title-deciding clash between Cork City and Derry City at Turners Cross have been sold out fully eight days in advance of the big game.
Going into this weekend's penultimate round of eircom League fixtures, just a point separates the sides at the top of the table.
The only way the title can be decided before Derry's visit to Leeside is if Cork defeat Shelbourne on Friday night and Derry lose at home to St Patrick's Athletic on Saturday.

The Professional Footballers' Association of Ireland (PFAI) has in the last few minutes announced its shortlists for four awards.
Derry defender Peter Hutton – a former winner of the award – is joined by team-mate Mark Farren, whose 18-goals have helped the Candystripes to the brink of the championship crown.
Cork are represented on the six-strong shortlist by midfielder Joe Gamble and playmaker George O'Callaghan, who have been central to the Leesiders' exceptional season to date.

Cork City have moved back on top of the Eircom League as they beat Shamrock Rovers 2-0 at Dalymount Park. The result leaves Rovers in real relgation trouble with inky two matches left.
In a good, open game despite the conditions, Rovers' cleared off the line from George O'Callaghan early on before Michael Devine pushed a Marc Kenny shot onto a post at the other end.

Next weekend's Premier Division clash between leaders Derry City and St Patrick's Athletic has been rescheduled for the third time – but on this occasion the new date has satisfied representatives of both clubs.
The game had been originally fixed for Friday evening, but was rearranged for the Monday night, November 14th, to cater for RTE television coverage.
