Napoli won as Cavani ended his goalless run

A week ago, having missed a penalty during the 2-0's defeat with Chievo, Edinson Cavani saw his torturous spell continuing, leaving the Uruguayan striker without scoring for 545 minutes. As the goal has dried up for Cavani, Napoli had won just one of their past six matches.

Francesco Totti's powerful second-half strike earned Aurelio Andreazzoli his first win as AS Roma coach, the Giallorossi beating Juventus 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico. The defeat means that Juve's lead atop Serie A could be reduced to two points on Sunday.

Restored to the Roma goal, Maarten Stekelenburg was making only his second Serie A appearance since October, but the Dutch No1 kept the hosts in the game.

Francesco Totti scored with a lightning bolt/rocket blast/Russian meteor to the top of the net to give Roma a 1-0 win against Juventus and keep Napoli within reach of first place. Totti was set up perfectly by a deflected free kick in the 58th minute and his shot was clocked at 113 km/h (70 mph), which may or may not be fast enough to decapitate a Transformer.

Arsenal may be struggling on and off the field, but the club's main shareholders aren't ready to jump ship just yet.
